Who is the They?*

I want to meet "the they” and “them” that have so much influence over our lives. The they of “you know they say…”  The those of “those people…”

Who are “the they”?  Where are “the they”  that we compare ourselves to?
You know who I mean - the ones that know better than we do what should be done and that do better than us.  The ones that have the information and the inside track.  Or the ones who are “the they” and “the those” because they differ from us, our way of thinking, our way of being.

After I meet the they and the them, I want to meet somebody.  You know, the somebody who... really should do...something about...so and so.

I guess I need to meet the something and the so and so, too.

While I’m at it, I wonder if I can meet, “not me” and her cousin, “it wasn’t me.”
Perhaps “don’t know” will show up with them.  And maybe, just maybe, the utterance said with a shrug of the shoulders will come along and be visible – “uh-uh.”

Oh,  I also  want to meet “the average,”  “the ordinary,” and “the normal” – those usual suspects who I can never put a face to believing as I do that we are each so unique there couldn’t be an average ordinary one among us.

Help me out, please, somebody, anybody.  Introductions are welcome.
